You will work with Annette Beaney, who has a 20 year hairdressing background and 17 years wigdressing, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with students wishing to learn any aspects of wigdressing and maintenance. And you will work with top quality WigFX wigs.

HISTORY

Annette Beaney is New Zealand’s most experienced designer of wigs. Her reputation and experience as New Zealand’s leading wig specialist has been earned through many years of hands-on experience. Annette qualified as a hairstylist in the 1980s and worked as a stylist until expanding her skills into the film and theatre in the 1990s.

She has been involved in the design and implementation of hair styles and the production of wigs for a large number of stage productions in New Zealand and Australia.

Annette has been a wig designer for the NBR New Zealand Opera since 1997. Annette expanded her business in 2004 to create WIGFX LTD, New Zealand’s only specialist supplier of wigs, facial hair and equipment and hair pieces for theatre and film industry.
