HAIR LOSS SUBSIDY
WigFX is registered with the New Zealand Ministry of Health as a provider of wigs.
To be eligible for the subsidy you must be a New Zealand citizen or reside in New Zealand. To qualify, your specialist or GP needs to give you a current medical certificate with your NHI number, details of hair loss and whether the condition is temporary or permanent. WigFX may make a claim for the wig purchase on your behalf or you may choose to claim direct.

As the owner and creator of WIGFX, I want to make sure you get the best value for money. Known for being a leading wig specialist, I have built a reputation based on years of hands-on experience in the film and theatre industries. I know and understand the demands of your industry and recognise the need to balance creativity, authenticity and a set budget.
Originally qualifying and working as a hairstylist in the 1980's, I transferred my skills to film and theatre in the 1990's. I have been the wig designer for the NBR New Zealand Opera since 1997 and have been involved in the design and creation of hair styles and the production of wigs for a large number of stage productions in New Zealand and Australia.
