We’ve been cooking up something new — and we’re buzzing to finally share it. Say hello to Palette Pals — a playful, beginner-friendly face paint brand we co-created for kids and their grownups!
It’s not about turning parents into pro face painters — it’s about offering a safe, screen-free, creative activity they can do together with their tamariki. Because if they’re going to paint faces anyway… we’d rather they do it properly (and not with those crusty old mystery paints).

Each kit comes packed with a vibrant skin-safe paint palette, brushes, stencils, and simple instructions cards WITH online tutorials!
It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to make creativity easy — even for first-timers.
You won’t find Palette Pals on the BODYFX website (it's its own thing), but if you’re local, you can order via palettepals.co.nz and pick up from the BODYFX studio in Tāmaki Makaurau. Most of our market is overseas (hey USA!), but we wanted to give our NZ face painting whānau the inside word.
We’ve always stood for safety, quality, and education. Palette Pals is just another way to spread that kaupapa.
As most of you know, face paint is a super fun activity, even for complete newbies, and these kits make excellent gifts for your mum friends, grand kids or nieces and nephews! Just look at how cute the boxes are!!
